Phil recently completed his new mix room designed around the Digidesign ICON D-Control and is staying very busy these days. A highly respected mixing engineer, Phil has put his definitive stamp on some of Hip-Hop and R&B's biggest hits. With numerous Grammys and platinum albums, he is currently serving another term as trustee for the Recording Academy. Since the early '90's, His client list includes Jermaine Dupri, Usher, Nelly, Snoop Dog, Alicia Keys, Killer Mike, and Janet Jackson among others. 
Phil represents a new breed of mixers who know and respect the rules of engineering, but is perfectly comfortable breaking outside of the box to enhance the creativity of the mix. |
