Page 3 of 4 What are your favorite plug ins? "I'm a big fan of the Waves Bundle. I'm also a big fan of the McDSP stuff, they make some really good filters… We've tried to maintain a level of continuity through out the entire facility a lot of the mixers favor certain plugins over other plug ins and the main reason we've selected the Waves Platinum Bundle was there were so many plugins in one bundle and so the mixers did have a choice of different EQ's, different reverbs, different types of dynamics in that same bundle, so we can move sessions through out the building." The microphones used in their ADR/Foley stages are Sennheiser MKH 416s and Neumann TLM 103s. What type of speakers are used through out the facility? "We're using Blue Skys through out the entire facility, we've been a big fan of those. We're using their 5.1 [bi-amp] systems with the 6" driver and a 1" horn, and they've worked out really really nice... A lot of the mixers have been real fans of using the Blue Skys as the midfield." JBLs are also used as their large surrounds in two of their stages.
