Our friend and client Harry was recently awarded a Creative Arts Emmy.
Here's a great email from Harry Snodgrass that we were delighted to receive: Chris, Last night was the Creative Arts Emmy Ceremony which is held one week before the main Emmys next week. I was nominated for Sound Editing of "Flight 93" for A&E.... To my amazement I WON!!! It was crazy, exciting, and overwhelming to say the least and I got a real Emmy statue of my own. The ceremony was over three hours long and will be cut down to a two hour broadcast next Saturday night on E! Entertainment channel. It should be called the "Creative Arts Emmy Awards" and will air sometime between 5pm to 8pm depending on if you have cable or satellite, probably 5pm since you are on the west coast. Check out the broadcast. There is no guarantee my acceptance speech will be aired but I was told I have a good chance since my speech got a huge round of applause from the thousands that were present. It was my first experience with paparazzi and after that, I am glad I have never been in front of the camera before. They are crazy!! Tons of shouting - over here Mr. Snodgrass!!! no over here!! One more photo with your statue, Mr. Snodgrass -- WOW!! It was crazy and fun.
The highlight of the evening was that I got to hang out with Tom Kenny, the voice of Spongebob Squarepants, and I was congratulated by a whole bunch of Hollywood Stars. Hopefully you can catch me on the broadcast. Harry Snodgrass |
