RSPE and our leasing partner Ardy Baraham of Quail capital recently provided a lease and equipment package to Smart Post Sound in Burbank.

Terry Dwyer, Chief Engineer and Supervising Re-Recording Mixer, has recently adopted iZotope's new Adaptive Real-time Noise Reduction unit, ANR-B, to rescue recorded dialog for Survivor and other shows. ANR-B is designed to automatically remove broadband and tonal noise from dialog in real-time with little or no interaction from the user, making it ideal for the demands of reality TV, live broadcast and call in settings,and other challenging applications.

Having designed and installed a new ProTools recording studio for the music department Brad Lieberman of RSPE continued on to design, and with the RSPE install team fully integrate, Laces new Auditorium. The installation included Yamaha installation speakers, Yamaha powered mixers and powered Yamaha monitors.

The Challenge: to get it all done in 8 hours. Mission accomplished!!!

Solid State Logic's X-Patch Remote Control software is available as an iPhone app and can be downloaded for free from the iTunes Store. The X-Patch Remote Control searches a network over Wi-Fi for SSL's X-Patch devices. If X-Patch is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Remote Control enables selection and recall of individually stored Logictivity Presets. There are up to 128 presets per X-Patch found, and where more than one X-Patch is found, each device can be independently selected and controlled.

X-Patch is designed to deliver the flexibility of plug-in style routing to boutique analog signal processing.
