F22 professional grade DLP projector
The F22 series is our entry level professional projector, but still performs like a champion. Based on our highly successful F20 series, we've added WUXGA and 1080p resolutions, and improved about almost all other features such as image quality, reliability. and options to fit any application are all top priorities, and are all taken care of.
Key features
* Newly designed, higher grade lens options
* Improved gradients and detail projection
* Reduced motion artefacting over standard projectors
* Automatic DPEq for long digital cable runs
* Greatly enhanced colours and colour gamut
* 24/7 operation warranty
* BrilliantColor colour processing
* Three colour wheel options for optimal application fit
* RealColor colour management suite
Who's it for?
The F22 series is made for displays and installations where reliability, image quality, and performance is critical, and where acqusition cost and total cost of ownership plays a central role. Small visualization suites, tiled walls and public displays, or simply critical board room applications is where it fits.
WUXGA, 1080p, SXGA+, or 720p resolution
It is up to you - and the application - what resolution you need and install. All the way from 1920x1200, down to 1280x720, the F22 series covers all popular resolutions, and provides a solution for every requirement. Be it 16:10 aspect ratio for new computer style displays, 4:3 legacy formats for tiling, domes and curved displays, or 16:9 for video display, there is a solution.
DLP technology – chosen for reliability
As with all our professional projectores, we use DLP technology from Texas Instruments as the core display technology. It has been chosen for it’s unique combination of image quality – high brightness and contrast, and natural colours – compact system size possibilites, and most importantly, it’s unmatched reliability. Thorough, independent testing has proven DLP technology to be the most reliable of all microdisplays. Inorganic by design, it does not degrade when subjected to UV light, inherent in all projectors. Unlike competing technologies, showing severe image quality degradation after only a few thousand hours, DLP technology remains constant over hundreds of thousands of hours.
RealColor realises seamless matching
Each F22 projector is uniquely characterised and calibrated during it’s manufacture. Unique optical performance values are recorded and matched to the electronics processing in order to secure perfect on-site calibration. With RealColor, it is possible to match any number of projectors, and ensure they all project the same primaries and grey scale, without going through a very complicated process. In fact, we guarantee a colour accuracy down to 0.002 in any dimension using RealColor calibration.
VIDI technology improves images
The newly developed VIDI technology from Philips helps greatly improve image quality. By digitally controlling and managing the lamp output,
BrilliantColor changes what you see
A new innovation from Texas Instruments, BrilliantColor is revolutionary in the way colours are processed and displayed. While increasing brightness over competing technologies, BrilliantColor dramatically increases colour saturation and gamut, and really needs to be seen. With strong saturation in yellows, cyans and magentas, colours commonly found in natural scenes, and very little contamination between colours, image quality is dramatacilly increased over any other technology.
High brightness – and configurable
Featuring up to 3000 ANSI lumens, the F22 features enough brightness for virtually any installation. With several optional configurations, it can be set to display any brightness desired, and for instance optimised for more saturated colours and video instead of computer graphics.
30-bit colour resolution
The F22 features full 10-bit per colour signal processing and resoluton on all digital and analogue inputs, and displays smoothly rendered transitions and gradients. Unlike traditional 8-bit displays, where the image often is stepped or graded, the F22 diplays an image with less artefacts, and more accurately.
Precision projection lens optics
Designed purely with High Quality low dispersion glass, a range of three projection lenses are available; a standard zoom lens, a flexible 1:1 wide angle lens, and an ultra wide angle with optical pincushion/barrel adjustemt, designed for rear projection applications and special requirements. Both wide angle lenses feature as low as
