7ate9 Entertainment’s in house mac-based Avid / FCP post facility is capable of handling media workflows ranging from material shot on mini DV to RED 4k. 7ate9 has been continually upgrading it’s facility over the past year to keep up with their clients increasing diverse delivery requirements. 7ate9 regularly produces and posts SD & HDcamSR / 5.1 surround episodic and stunt programming event television for Disney Channel US/International and Disney XD. Recent 7ate9 original series edited and mixed in-house include Moises Rules!, Remicks, BLAM!, Leo Little’s Big Show, What’s The Word?, Disney’s Really Short Report, Go Go Gametime!, Mike’s Super Short Show, The Disney Channel Games, Three Minute Gameshow, and many others.
7ate9 and in-house indie film group Artfire Films just produced and completed in-house edit/mix for The People Speak short-form segments for History, produced and edited the feature and trailers for the upcoming Jeff Daniels/ Emma Stone starrer Paper Man.
Currently, 7ate9 is working on some PSA spots for Haiti Disaster Relief, new episodes of Leo Little’s Big Show on Disney Channel, short form content for History, a commercial for Tribesolve/ Walmart and several other projects.
When 7ate9 Entertainment’s clients started to ask for 5.1 mixes, 7ate9 looked around town for the most knowledgeable vendor to upgrade their audio suite. 7ate9 chose RSPE Audio Solutions, Digidesign and Genelec for their 5.1 mix room upgrade. RSPE's Brad Lieberman was an extremely helpful resource for us, providing product consultation and manufacturer support enabling us to provide our clients an accurate 5.1 Surround mixing environment. After a site visit and additional consultations, Brad came back to us with expert advice and the knowledge of special key promotions that got us where we needed to be for our budget, something other vendors did not know about at the time. RSPE delivered a Protools HD2 solution with 5 Genelec 8030's, a large 7060 subwoofer, Studio Technology’s Model 74/75 control console and a several full suites of Surround tools and plugins. A Coleman MultiChannel VU Metering system rounded out the room perfectly. Shortly after installation, Brad brought in his contact at Genelec to sound out the room and perfectly adjust the speakers for us. We found Brad and RSPE easily accessible, great to work with and quick to respond to any request. We have also found RSPE to be a great resource for expert training and new product demos.
